French Visual Artist

Every one of my projects is the result of research established during several months. One of my lastest exhibit was built around several series of drawings relative to the thought. I spent nearly one year working on the thought. I wondered, what is the thought ? What is the use of thinking ? And more particularly, do we still think ? I quickly came to this assertion : we do not think any more. Therefore, I concentrated on two political conceptions : the intellectual standardization of individual thought and the collective thought.

Virus This installation is an attempt to show the absence of free will and the existence of intellectual comfort. The agglomeration of paper fortune tellers represent the collective thought : kidnapped and isolated. In this installation entitled, Virus, the intellectual creativity is bullied. Tightened threads materialize a tension. Other representations such as the denial of oneself, the absence of thought and the subtleties to support it, are indicated by the black, white, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow. Many children play to determine what they are and of what they have to think when they handle this folding game at school. By a series of orders, these paper fortune tellers decide on the physical or intellectual state of the one who submits himself to it. This game is capable of appointing at the same time, a thinker and being disposed of thought. The reality of schoolyards looks fiercely like the societal reality. There are those who think and those who think for others. And then there are those who do not think any more, by intellectual comfort.
